Popular trail in the Tatra Mountains closed. Difficult conditions
Starting today, tourists can no longer use the popular Olczyska Valley trail in the Tatra Mountains due to construction work by the Tatra National Park. A new ticket point is being built at the trail entrance in Jaszczurówka. The duration of the closure is currently unknown, and visitors are advised to check park updates and consider alternative routes. Additionally, the Mroźna Cave in Kościeliska Valley will close for winter on November 1 for safety and nature protection. Snow has increased in the Tatras, with a low avalanche risk at higher altitudes. Conditions for hiking are challenging, requiring experience and proper winter gear.
