The antlers got stuck in the roots. A dramatic fight for the moose's life
On October 27, a witness reported a young moose trapped in the forest of Janowo, Poland. Upon arrival, forest workers found the moose's antlers stuck in birch roots. They quickly cut the roots to free the animal, but it was too exhausted to stand. The next day, a forest ranger provided water, but the moose's condition did not improve. A veterinarian was called to administer medication, and with the help of a loader and straps, the moose was eventually able to stand and walk away into the forest.
