Tolls are expected to increase by 3.8% in 2027

Tolls on highways are expected to rise by 3.82% in 2027, based on the estimated inflation rate for October, excluding housing, as reported by INE. This increase includes a 0.1% compensation for concessionaires. The calculation method for toll price adjustments is outlined in decree-law n.º 294/97, which uses the inflation rate without housing as a reference. Provisional data from INE indicates an inflation rate of 3.72%, with final figures to be released on November 11.
