Portugal highlights economic opportunities in Venezuela

Manuel Castro Almeida, the Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, emphasized the importance of the energy sector recovery and infrastructure reconstruction for Portuguese companies in Venezuela. Speaking in Caracas, he highlighted opportunities in energy, construction, and various industries, aiming to establish consistent business relations. The minister noted the reopening of the AICEP delegation as a significant step for enhancing economic presence and addressing challenges in trade and investment. He stressed the need for legal security and favorable conditions for economic activity, while leading a delegation of around 30 Portuguese companies to explore viable projects and partnerships.
