Portugal will strengthen funding for the internationalization of companies in Venezuela

The Portuguese government announced a new financial support framework to boost investments by Portuguese companies in Venezuela. Minister Manuel Castro Almeida revealed plans to enhance the role of the Portuguese Development Bank and reopen the AICEP representation in Caracas. He emphasized the potential for economic ties, particularly in infrastructure, housing, and health sectors. The current trade volume is low, under 10 million euros, indicating significant growth potential. Almeida's visit aims to strengthen political and economic relations, with a focus on fostering business opportunities and cultural connections between Portugal and Venezuela.
