A powerful brawl in parliament. Fists were thrown.

A mass brawl erupted in the Armenian parliament during a speech by ruling party MP Taron Chakhoyan, leading to physical confrontations between government and opposition members. The incident began when Chakhoyan's remarks on the opposition's election campaign angered members of the Strong Armenia party, particularly its leader Narek Karapetyan. The verbal exchange escalated into a physical fight involving fists, bottles, and a chair. The parliamentary session was suspended for about 40 minutes, with some clashes continuing in the corridors. Vice-chairman Wahagn Aleksanian condemned the opposition's reaction but justified the violent response from his party members, stating that violence can sometimes be a logical response to provocation. One MP suffered a nosebleed during the altercation, and another had their clothing torn.
