Powerful attack on Saudi Arabia. Houthis struck airports and oil facilities

Houthi rebels have claimed attacks on Saudi Arabian targets, including airports and oil facilities of Saudi Aramco. They targeted airports in Riyadh, Dammam, and Najran, as well as oil infrastructure in Yanbu and Rabigh. Saudi authorities reported intercepting missiles and debris falling near Mecca and Medina, which the Houthis denied attacking. The conflict, ongoing since 2014, saw a decrease in intensity after a ceasefire in 2022, but recent Houthi offensives have strengthened their control over the Red Sea region. They threaten to blockade the Red Sea and attack Saudi commercial vessels.
