It takes 10 people to turn a page. Here is the world's largest pop-up book

A unique celebration took place in Los Angeles for the 100th anniversary of the Richard J. Riordan Central Library, featuring the world's largest pop-up book. Titled "Luceros y Penumbras" by artist Daniel Gonzalez, the book measures 4.5 by 6 meters per page and weighs 817 kilograms. Turning a page requires ten people and long poles due to its size. Officially recognized by the Guinness World Records, the book aims to inspire joy in discovering pop-up books and reflect on the importance of libraries. The exhibition also showcases selected items from the library's collection of over 2,000 pop-up books, with the library being the third largest in the U.S. The giant book will be on display until January 2027.
