Few police at the Porto Camp that overnighted with tents

During a recent protest in Porto, demonstrators decided to camp overnight in Praça D. João I, setting up around ten tents. Despite a significant police presence earlier, the police did not intervene as the protesters remained. Organizers indicated they would comply with police requests to dismantle the tents if necessary, but no such request was made. The situation remained calm until early morning, with some protesters inside the tents and others socializing. Police presence fluctuated, with periods of no officers on site, allowing the protest to continue without confrontation. Eventually, police returned to monitor the area as the night progressed.
