A square has been created, the historic wall needs renovation. The cost is 1.5 million zlotys.

District councilor Krzysztof Michalski highlighted the poor condition of the fence surrounding the Markowska square, noting damage and vandalism. Despite budget allocations for repairs over the years, no work has commenced. The estimated cost for renovation is around 1.5 million PLN. The Green Management spokesperson stated that there are no funds available for the historic fence's restoration and that they have requested additional financing from the Local Policy Office. The square, established in 2024, is part of the former Koneser Vodka Factory complex, a registered historic site. The area has a rich history, including its use for water extraction and vodka production until the mid-20th century.
