The funeral ceremonies for firefighters Bartłomiej Pieróg and Wojciech Garbacz, who died in a fire, will take place on October 22 and 23, respectively. Both funerals will be state ceremonies, held at the request of the families without media presence. The firefighters lost their lives during a firefighting operation at a tractor parts warehouse in Nisko, where they were trapped by flames. Initial autopsy results indicate that their deaths were caused by cardiac arrest and shock due to burns. The firefighting operation lasted several hours, with efforts to extinguish the fire continuing into the following morning.
