Almost three meters long. A German caught the longest catfish in the world in Poland

A record catch occurred during a fishing competition in Rybnik, Poland, where Oliver Schäfer and Kevin Cremers caught a nearly three-meter-long catfish. Despite the challenging weather, they managed to reel in the fish after a 30-minute struggle. The catfish measured 292 cm, matching a previous record set last year. However, their total points placed them second in the competition. Schäfer noted that he had heard stories of three-meter fish but had only believed it when he saw it himself.
