Food prices are expected to rise by 18% between 2025 and 2027

The World Bank predicts an 18% increase in food prices from 2025 to 2027 due to supply challenges stemming from conflicts. Additionally, energy prices are expected to rise by 32% this year, influenced by Middle Eastern conflicts that have driven Brent crude prices up to an average of $91 per barrel. If tensions do not escalate post-U.S. elections, oil prices may stabilize at $79 next year; otherwise, they could reach $105 by 2027. Fertilizer prices are projected to grow by 14% this year, while metal prices may increase by 25%.
