António Salvador, president of Sporting de Braga, has been suspended for 23 days by the Portuguese Football Federation's Disciplinary Council for criticizing referee Gustavo Correia after a match against Gil Vicente. Following the game, Salvador approached the referees' locker room and made derogatory comments about the referee's capabilities. In addition to the suspension, he was fined €4,970. Braga lost the match 2-1 and expressed dissatisfaction over two controversial decisions involving fouls that could have influenced the game's outcome.
