TSE President says elections took place normally

The president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Kassio Nunes Marques, stated that the recent elections were conducted normally, countering claims of fraud made by defeated candidate Flávio Bolsonaro. Marques emphasized the commitment of electoral authorities to respect the voters' will. Following the elections, Bolsonaro fled to the United States after being ordered to surrender his passports. In the second round, Lula won with 64 million votes against Bolsonaro's 59 million. The TSE reported that approximately 158.7 million voters were eligible to participate in the elections.
