President Karol Nawrocki calls for urgent consultations regarding the situation surrounding the Constitutional Tribunal

President Karol Nawrocki has called for urgent consultations regarding the situation surrounding the Constitutional Tribunal. His statement was read by Minister Paweł Szefernaker during a demonstration outside the Tribunal. Nawrocki indicated that there has been a violation of the constitutional order and a forceful takeover of a state constitutional body. He consulted with Supreme Court President Zbigniew Kapiński, who also does not recognize the legality of actions taken by those claiming authority in the Tribunal. Nawrocki urged for the restoration of legal order and the withdrawal of services from the Tribunal's premises. He announced urgent consultations with parliamentary representatives to address the political situation and restore constitutional order. The President left the Tribunal building around 5 AM, and his statement was later published by the Chancellery on social media.
