Price goes up again: stamps will cost 1.52 euros

Starting January 1, 2027, the price of a single postage stamp in the Netherlands will increase to €1.52, reflecting a €0.12 rise from the current price of €1.40. This increase is attributed to a decline in mail volume, rising delivery costs, and inflation. PostNL has received approval from the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) to raise its rates, which remain within the established tariff framework. Additionally, standard mail will now be delivered within two days instead of one, while priority and mourning mail will maintain their current prices of €3.95 and €3.25, respectively, with a delivery promise of one day.
