Prime Minister absent from the Council of Ministers visited school without media communication

Prime Minister Luís Montenegro missed the Council of Ministers meeting on October 22 due to scheduling conflicts, opting instead for a surprise visit to a school in Aveiro without media presence. Minister of the Presidency, António Leitão Amaro, confirmed this during a press conference, stating that the meeting was led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Montenegro's visit to the António Alves Amorim School highlighted its initiative to limit mobile phone use. He praised the professionalism of the staff and the happiness of the students, emphasizing the value of informal interactions. Amaro noted that such visits allow for more open communication with citizens.
