Attempted attack on RAF base. Suspected Britons detained and questioned again

British police have re-arrested two men suspected of aiding foreign intelligence in a potential attack on RAF Fairford. The suspects, aged 24 and 25, were previously released on bail. One is British, arrested near the base on September 27, while the other holds dual British-Iranian citizenship and was detained in London on October 1. The investigation, linked to national security, suggests significant Iranian involvement, according to anti-terror police chief Laurence Taylor. Earlier, five British men were arrested near the base, but no explosives were found, only gasoline. Prime Minister Andy Burnham indicated that the operation likely had Iranian coordination, which Iran has denied.
