"Trying to force my decisions". Sikorski on the president's actions

Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski accused President Karol Nawrocki of attempting to manipulate decisions regarding ambassador nominations, particularly concerning Washington. Sikorski stated that Nawrocki has not signed any of the 46 ambassadorial nominations, which he views as a failure to fulfill his constitutional role. He emphasized that the situation is unacceptable, as it jeopardizes the diplomatic corps and the governance of Poland. Sikorski also criticized Nawrocki for trying to convert ceremonial duties into power, comparing it to a scenario where a local authority withholds a driver's license based on political preferences. He reiterated that such actions are unconstitutional and should not be tolerated.
