Teacher shot in Oregon: "I pretended to be dead"
Becky Drury, a special education teacher, was critically injured during a school shooting at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend, Oregon. The incident, which occurred a week ago, involved a 16-year-old former student who opened fire, resulting in four deaths, including three children. Drury recounted her experience, stating she was shot while trying to protect her students. She initially attempted to close the door but was shot at close range. To survive, she pretended to be dead, hoping the shooter would not fire again.
