Prosecutor seeks a quick verdict for the beating of a child. "Without a trial"

The District Prosecutor's Office in Nowy Sącz has filed a motion for a conviction without trial against a 22-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man accused of abusing her 20-month-old child. The man also faces charges for causing injuries to the child and providing his partner with psychotropic substances. Initially denying the allegations, both defendants later admitted guilt and expressed willingness to accept a penalty. The child was hospitalized with severe injuries, including brain hemorrhages and fractures. The evidence collected, including witness testimonies and expert opinions, led to the charges against the couple, who face up to eight years in prison.
