Protest after the disaster in Spain. Violent riots have erupted

Around 1,500 people protested in front of the Ministry of Transport in Madrid against the government following a deadly train collision. The clash resulted in violence between far-right groups and police, with protesters throwing flares and bottles. The train crash in Urda, Toledo, claimed at least 68 lives and injured over 50, including a member of the opposition People's Party. The transport minister suggested human error might have caused the tragedy, as a Renfe train was allowed to proceed despite a red signal. This incident marks another serious railway disaster in Spain this year, following a previous crash in January that resulted in 45 deaths.
