The city of Chrastava has replaced the problematic Kovák hostel with a new discount store, opening next week. The hostel, built in the 1970s, faced numerous issues over the years, including overcrowding and neglect by its owner. After years of complaints and legal battles, the building was finally demolished in 2023, paving the way for the new retail establishment.
