Provider requests information from PSP about police loads

The Ombudsman requested urgent information from the PSP regarding police actions against protesters in Lisbon and Porto. This follows previous requests about police interventions during housing rights demonstrations. The IGAI has also opened an administrative process to investigate the circumstances of these police actions, which resulted in injuries. The protests aimed to address housing issues, including demands for changes to rental laws and increased public housing. Left-wing parties criticized the police response, while the ruling PSD party supported it.
