PRR disbursed another 271 million euros last week

The Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) has disbursed an additional 271 million euros to beneficiaries, primarily companies, in the last week. Total payments now reach 15.669 billion euros, representing 72% of the contracted amount. Companies lead with 5.546 billion euros, followed by public entities and municipalities. Project approvals have increased to 25.242 billion euros, with companies again at the forefront. The Minister of Economy emphasized the PRR as a national achievement but noted ongoing verification work. The government plans to amend contracts for projects not completed on time, extending deadlines to December 31, 2027, while ensuring continued funding. The PRR aims to foster economic recovery and job creation post-COVID-19.
