Breakthrough regarding the Wojnicz manuscript. Scientists may have found the key to its deciphering
The Voynich Manuscript, a mysterious document dating back to the early 15th century, has puzzled experts for over a century. Recent research suggests that its unusual structure may be due to incorrect binding of the pages. Scholars Lisa Fagin Davis and Colin Layfield propose that the manuscript's pages might have originally functioned as separate cards rather than a traditional book. Their semantic analysis indicates that some pages are less similar, hinting at a possible misordering. Additionally, they plan to analyze watermarks to reconstruct the original sequence. While this does not mean the manuscript has been deciphered, it represents a significant step forward in understanding its content.
