Cut through the security with a grinder, stole a scooter. Not the first time.

A key piece of evidence in identifying a suspect was surveillance footage showing a man using an angle grinder to cut the lock of a scooter before stealing it. The police analyzed the evidence, identified the 41-year-old suspect, and recovered the stolen scooter. The man admitted to the theft, and it was revealed that he had made theft a regular source of income, facing 28 previous charges related to thefts and burglaries totaling nearly 90,000 PLN in losses. The police requested a temporary arrest, but the prosecutor opted for police supervision instead. The suspect faces up to five years in prison, with potential for a harsher sentence due to the habitual nature of his crimes.
