Przemyśl suspends cooperation with Lviv. This is a consequence of a scandalous decision

The council of Przemyśl has decided to suspend cooperation with Lviv following Lviv's announcement to commemorate the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA). The Lubusz Voivodeship Assembly is set to vote on severing ties with Lviv. Lviv's regional council declared 2027 as the year of UPA and its leaders, which sparked controversy due to UPA's historical involvement in genocide. The proposal was later removed from Lviv's website. A council member who proposed the UPA resolution, Sviatoslav Sheremeta, has been banned from Schengen countries until 2031. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed confusion over Ukraine's actions and mentioned that President Zelensky was unhappy with the situation and would not support it.
