Smuggling on a gigantic scale. Instead of lollipop wrappers, cigarette wrappers

Customs officers in Podlasie stopped a Romanian truck carrying cardboard boxes, allegedly transporting lollipops to Italy. An X-ray scan revealed nearly 4 million counterfeit cigarette packaging hidden beneath the boxes. The estimated market value of these items is around 1 million PLN. The driver was questioned as a witness, and this incident marks another case of smuggling thwarted by customs officials, following a previous seizure of 5.5 million counterfeit packages from two trucks in May.
