On September 18, a shark named Bukangi was spotted in a narrow channel in Busan, attracting over 1.6 million visitors. Identified as a three-meter female dusky shark, Bukangi could not remain in the channel due to health concerns and injuries. After two unsuccessful rescue attempts, a third operation on October 4 successfully guided the shark towards the Marina Bridge. Although Bukangi left the channel, the waters near the harbor are not considered open sea, but authorities hope she will eventually reach deeper waters.
