He took his wife's surname and hoped that the police would not find him

A 39-year-old man from the Kolno district was arrested in Pabianice after hiding from justice since May. He was wanted under two arrest warrants from courts in Białystok and Rawa Mazowiecka. The man faces a three-year prison sentence for drunk driving as a repeat offender and an additional 272 days for driving without a valid license. He attempted to evade capture by using his wife's surname. Upon police arrival, he was surprised and will now serve nearly four years in prison.
