PS will force the hearing of Miguel Pinto Luz

The PS party announced it will request the mandatory hearing of Minister Miguel Pinto Luz over conflict of interest suspicions related to urban planning legislation. Initial requests for his hearing were rejected by the Infrastructure Committee. Following this, Chega attempted to change its abstention to support the PS request, but this was denied by the committee president. PS deputy Luís Testa emphasized the need for the hearing, citing doubts about the minister's actions and Chega's behavior. The request stems from concerns that the new urban planning regime may have benefited the minister, particularly regarding a contested hotel licensing case.
