PSP detained two illegal security guards and seized a firearm

The Porto Metropolitan Command of the PSP arrested two men, aged 28 and 40, for illegal private security work, seizing a firearm and 23 rounds of ammunition. The operation took place on Tuesday at 2:15 AM on Rua Arada, after confirming the suspects were guarding a construction site without the required professional card. During the police intervention, one suspect was found with a prohibited firearm, which had its serial number removed. The firearm was accompanied by two magazines and additional ammunition. The suspects were charged and required to report to judicial authorities.
