Quote-500: wealth list shaken up by AI entrepreneurs and new richest Dutch person

The wealth of the 500 richest Dutch individuals has increased significantly, with a total of 300 billion euros. Jean-Louis van der Velde has become the richest, surpassing Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken. The number of billionaires rose from 52 to 56, and AI entrepreneurs are increasingly represented. Despite this growth, the list remains predominantly male, with only 44 women among the 500. The youngest billionaire is Pim de Witte, who founded an AI company. Recent statistics show a rise in millionaire households, totaling 547,000, largely due to increasing property values.
