Radosław Fogiel: Lviv's decision is horrendously stupid

The Lviv Regional Council declared 2027 as the year of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army and its commander Roman Shukhevych, sparking outrage among Polish politicians. Radosław Fogiel emphasized the need for decisive action, suggesting that those who voted for this recognition should be declared persona non grata in Poland. He also called for partner cities of Lviv to reconsider their cooperation. Fogiel criticized the Ukrainian diplomacy as reminiscent of Soviet tactics, labeling the decision as foolish, especially as President Volodymyr Zelensky seeks support for Ukrainian grain exports. He stressed that while Poland does not want Ukraine to lose, it cannot allow disrespect towards the victims of the Volhynia massacre.
