Rangel highlights the "political signal" of the increase in the MNE budget

Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel announced a 7.7% increase in the foreign policy budget for 2027, marking a significant political signal. He emphasized that this is the first time the budget exceeds 500 million euros, reaching 512 million. Rangel highlighted a stark contrast with the previous socialist government, noting that tax revenues have also seen consecutive increases. He described the 2027 budget as one of stability, asserting that the current government aims for both stability and reform without falling into stagnation.
