Claims have taken hundreds of thousands to the streets in France

Mass protests in France saw hundreds of thousands take to the streets, leading to chaos in several cities and the identification of around a thousand individuals. The Interior Minister reported approximately 400,000 participants, while a major trade union claimed the number was closer to 800,000.
