Registering a car without leaving home? The minister announced the date
The Polish Minister of Digitization, Krzysztof Gawkowski, announced a government project for electronic vehicle registration via the mObywatel app starting in 2027. This initiative will make Poland the first European country to offer such a service, including courier delivery of registration plates and documents. Gawkowski emphasized that the goal of Poland's digital strategy, adopted in June 2026, is to achieve a paperless administration by 2035. He highlighted that digitization aims to enhance public services, security, and quality of life. The Ministry has held 16 regional meetings with local government representatives to understand community needs, focusing on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital skills, and e-government development.
