A financial audit is underway at the Justice Administration Academy following the dismissal of rector Michał Sopiński. The audit focuses on his expensive business trips to locations like Bali and Singapore, which included a costly conference attendance. Sopiński defended his travels as necessary for representing the academy. However, a recent email from the chancellor outlined austerity measures for staff, highlighting a disparity between expectations for employees and the rector's lavish expenses. This has raised concerns among staff about double standards in financial management at the academy, which has received over 500 million PLN from the state budget.
