Renault continues its advance in military drones
Renault has unveiled a new military project called Forefront Concept, a versatile teleoperated ground platform developed with John Cockerill. This vehicle features four-wheel steering and is powered by two electric motors, allowing a range of approximately 400 kilometers. It can carry up to one ton and is designed for various military and civilian applications, including logistics support and reconnaissance. Real-world testing will occur soon as part of the Pendragon project, aimed at establishing France's first military robotic unit with artificial intelligence by 2027. Joint exercises are also planned with the Belgian army.
