Renovation of water production center in As: "Keeping water safe from source to customer"

De Watergroep is renovating the water production center in As, which is outdated. Preparatory work has begun, with demolition starting next week and lasting until summer 2028. The water supply will remain uninterrupted during this period. The renovation includes insulation improvements, solar panels, and updates to underground pipes and cables to meet safety standards. The center, operational since the 1970s, serves 42,000 households directly and supports a total of 150,000 households in the region. Limited disruption is expected for local residents during the renovation process.
