Replica of Queen Victoria's necklace at auction in Geneva

The upcoming Geneva jewelry auction by Phillips on November 9 features notable pieces including a 5.62-carat Kashmir sapphire and a pearl and diamond necklace once owned by Queen Mary of Teck. This auction introduces a new section for period jewelry and distinguished pieces. Highlights will tour internationally before the full exhibition in Geneva. The Queen Mary necklace, commissioned in 1928, reflects a Victorian design but uses contemporary materials. It has a rich history, having been passed down through generations and is expected to fetch around 180,000 euros. Other auction highlights include a Fancy Vivid Blue diamond and a gold cross from Rudolf Nureyev's collection.
