Macau's financial reserves reach record high
Macau's financial reserve reached a record high of 705.6 billion patacas in August, with a significant increase of 3.57 billion patacas that month. The government plans to transfer 1.22 billion euros to a new public fund aimed at diversifying the economy. The reserve has shown consistent growth, with a total increase of 50.5 billion patacas last year. Investments have yielded substantial returns, contributing to the reserve's strength. The basic reserve is equivalent to 150% of Macau's public budget, reflecting the region's robust financial health.
