Revolution in Kołobrzeg. The spa says "stop" to electric scooters

The Kołobrzeg City Council approved a resolution banning electric scooters from green areas, allowing them only on designated bike paths. Mayor Anna Mieczkowska emphasized the need for regulation due to the increasing number of scooters and related accidents. She called for national legislation to introduce a specific prohibition sign for electric scooters. In 2025, Poland recorded 1,200 incidents involving scooters, resulting in 11 fatalities.
