Revolution in retirement savings. IKE and IKZE may disappear

A working group in Poland is proposing reforms to the voluntary pension savings system, aiming to simplify and unify products like IKE and IKZE. Key suggestions include merging these accounts into a single product, IKE+, with a unified withdrawal age of 60 and increased tax incentives. The group identified issues such as complexity, fragmentation, and insufficient state contributions. Proposed changes also include a universal account for various asset classes and a bonus for long-term savers. The final report is expected soon, following discussions among stakeholders including government and financial experts.
