The Italian government has reinstated the diesel excise tax cut through an interministerial decree. Signed by Treasury Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti and Environment Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, the measure reduces fuel taxes starting today, October 28, until November 7. The discount amounts to €4.88 per liter, including VAT.
