Red figures for Stellantis, the car manufacturer of Opel, Peugeot, Fiat, and Citroën
Stellantis, the automotive group behind brands like Opel and Peugeot, reported a loss of 453 million euros in Q3, facing challenges from Chinese competition. This follows a previous net loss of 2.3 billion euros in early 2025 due to one-time costs from model discontinuations. Despite a profit in the first half of this year, the company has returned to losses. However, revenue increased by 1% to 37.6 billion euros, driven by higher sales volumes in Europe. Stellantis, like other European automakers, is struggling with intense competition from Chinese brands and has had to adjust its electric vehicle strategy in the US, incurring significant costs.
