Romania denounces increase in Russian hybrid warfare

Romanian President Nicusor Dan accused the Russian government of escalating hybrid warfare against European democracies, citing sabotage incidents in Romania. He emphasized that these actions violate national sovereignty and security. Dan highlighted recent provocations in the Black Sea as part of a coordinated campaign by Russia to create division within European societies. He assured that Romania will respond decisively to prevent such actions and will work closely with NATO and EU partners. The Romanian Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador to protest against the alleged sabotage of a defense company and the increase in attacks in the Black Sea.
