Russia rejected the proposal to extend the ceasefire in Ołeszki
Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Russia rejected a proposal to extend the ceasefire in Oleshky. Evacuated residents have returned to Ukrainian-controlled areas. The ceasefire aimed to facilitate humanitarian aid delivery and evacuate those wishing to leave the war-affected city. The situation in Oleshky was dire, with around 2,000 people lacking food and water. The ceasefire was initially agreed upon with the support of Melania Trump, who emphasized its importance for civilian safety.
